Bad Guys doing good

 The 501st Legion is an international fan-based organization dedicated to the construction and wearing of screen-accurate replicas of Imperial Stormtrooper armor, Sith Lords, Clone Troopers, Bounty Hunters, and other villains from the Star Wars universe. The 501st Legion, called by its nickname Vader's Fist, is made up entirely of volunteers.

  While the 501st was initially founded to unite costumers with a penchant for Star Wars villainy, one of our real-world missions is to bring good to our communities through volunteer charity work. The 501st is always looking for opportunities to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and to bring awareness to positive causes on both a local and global scale. 

The Legion is World Wide and broken in the regions. 

I am a member of the Golden Gate Garrison that goes from the San Francisco Bay Area and along the coast, up to Eureka.

Q:I'm interested in joining the Legion, but what costume should I pick, are you all just Stormtroopers?

A: No we are all the bad guys from Star Wars. Take a look at the Costume Reference Library(CRL) to see what is the right one for you. (Warning, you can spend hours here) After you have narrowed it down, ask to join the Detachment for that costume then start asking them questions. They will direct you where to get the stuff you need to for that costume.
